Now that the world is returning to something that more closely resembles normalcy, the masterclasses that would typically be part of a musical year are returning, and a big one has just been announced. Håkan Hardenberger is probably the world’s preeminent trumpet soloist, and he’s going to be giving a masterclass in Toronto at the Glenn Gould School (in the Royal Conservatory of Music) on October 8th, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The masterclass is free, and is open to the public.

This is a great opportunity to hear one of the great trumpet players of our time work with excellent students from the Glenn Gould School (GGS) on major pieces of solo repertoire, and also on trumpet playing in general. See you there!
